Engage Lizi + Dave

I present to you a couple in love.

They are both fun, I can see how they found each other and got connected.
Here are some images of Lizi and Dave engagement session.

Since that tree was of importance to them I told them to stay a little bit away from it to facilitate to add the tree to the composition. I also asked them to forget I was there and to talk about anything that brings a good mood to the scene.

I
I knew it was working because you can tell here that they did forget about me being there šŸ˜‰
Having some fun before we left the park in direction to the lake… we were thinking about getting some pictures with the sunset.
I make all my images in vibrant + vivid colors but I also add to every package complimentary black and whites because I know some people just love them monochrome.
Because the time I knew we would not make to the lake in time so I suggested a construction site on 1860 South Provo.
It’s fun to shoot a couple that has a fun personality…
when the flash doesn’t go off we can get the silhouette images that I always like to add 1 or 2 in every session.
Ā Lizi and Dave will get married at the Manti temple of the month of June, 2011. For more images of them in love you can click here.

kelsi pregnancy

This is Kelsi and she is going to have a baby.
This is her husband…
One of my favorite things to happen in a photo-shoots is when I get a couple in love. To capture the connection they both have for each other is a priceless experience for me as a photographer. This did not started asĀ  a love session. It was supposed to be a pregnant session. While I still think we accomplish the purpose to register the pregnancy of Kelsi, but above all I think we were able to capture the love they have for each other as well.
thanks for visiting the blog.

The Cooleys

About 2 months ago, in March I posted aĀ  at my facebook fans page (please visit and make sure you “like” it)Ā  this image and a fun competition:

Would you like a Free Photo Session with me?

What do you say the woman is thinking, and how can you relate with the couple kissing?

We got over a 100 replies, lots of fun stuff that people came up with and Shannon Cooley was the most voted. She got the most “likes” on her idea:

“Oh man, I stepped into the middle of an engagement photo again!”
It took two months for us to schedule it because they were living out of the state of Utah, and finally last week we got together in the middle of a afternoon to make their photo session with me. I loved to see them again after a while and their little girl just stole my heart. She was incredible cute and incredible content with me shooting around her.

We started at a orchard in Provo, It’s the one on center street and 1000 East.

The next session of images is when she literately stole my heart!! [sigh]

This is the kind of frames that I enjoy to capture…

This image got several comments on Facebook…

well, this is the last one I will share here today. I think we accomplished together to capture some good moments and the personality of the baby in this session. Thanks again for the parents that came all the way here for a complimentary session with me.

Thanks for visiting. Click here if you would like to see more images of this session in higher resolution and sizes.

Robbins

I am learning to work around kids. When photographing families with kids I try to work accordingly to the kid rather than trying to make the kids to what I want.
A little bear or a flower might be used as a prop if it’s important to the kid.
Since our kid here liked a lot to cross that bridge I stayed in one side waiting for them to get these frames below.
I often lay in the ground to get different angles as well.
